About: SweetRot are a revenant of sorts by their own reckoning. Though living, their tissue is exceedingly soft and prone to tearing. Rips are stitched as quickly as possible with pastel pink, green, lavender, and mint blue and green waxed stitching thread, usually with broad swathes of decorative embroidery hiding the seam. The wound (often a massive gaping hole) is packed with a pink antiseptic, antibacterial powder that gives off the sickly sweet scent that prompted the common name of their species. Their clothes are often altered in such a way as to display the artwork around the wound, in addition to keeping even the pressure from the lightest fabrics off of it, as there is often considerable bruising hidden beneath- or used quite creatively to accent, depending on the artist- the embroidery. Aside from this characteristic and their skin, hair, and eyes being various pastel shades, SweetRot are quite similar to humans- similar tastes in food and entertainment, and a vast range of personalities and moral codes.
