Description

Species: Gladerunner
Experience required: Very Experienced, ability to AP or Bilocate requested
Name: Marinte (mahr-in-TEI)
Age/Life Stage: Older, 5,678,965
Appearance: From a harsher, more windswept area, Marinte lacks the leafy "coat" that most Gladerunners lay claim to. (That is not to say that the wind tore them away or any such, he simply came into being without them.) 6'7 at the shoulder
Abilities: increasing confidence and increasing or even inducing a thirst for knowledge of all things
Manifestations: Dream visitations
Offerings: Books, being read to or with
About: Marinte enjoys learning about things, and wishes to learn much from her future companion- about them, and about this plane, and hopefully other planes and cultures and religions as well from their companion's other keep members. He enjoys spending time quietly exploring, and will likely spend a few weeks or even a few months exploring your entire house and all of its contents, asking questions all the while. He will likely travel with you to learn as much as he can about and planes you visit if you have the ability to astral project or bilocate, and depending on the relationship you form, he may allow you to ride him so that he can expose you to a handful of the planes he is familiar with and travels to regularly.
Vessel: Dendritic Agate [pictured]
Master vessel y/n: no

Species: Gladerunner
Art: White
Experience required: varies
Gender: All Gladerunners are male, technically, though they do not mate and their energy is truly neutral as far as "gender" goes, they are not leaning either masculine of feminine
Appearance: Standing 4 to 6 feet at the shoulder, Gladerunners are a canid species similar to wolves. All consist entirely of plant mattter, woody stems in place of bone, vines in place of sinew and tendons, and are covered in a leaf blanket growing outwards away from the main "surface" of their bodies. The leaves are the same on every individual, and are similar in shape, texture, and color variants to Pothos.
Abilities: Plant manipulation, plant healing, minor energetic healing [cuts and smaller wounds, some may be able to handle larger gashes, broken bones are out of the realm of possibility for most of them], warding, protection, calming, boosting confidence and self-awareness, improving self-esteem
Manifestations: green, white, green-to-yellow, and white-to-yellow orbs, green-to-yellow light flares, scent of forest and petrichor, warmth, feeling of being in a very old, very large forest, peace, prefer to converse via telepathy, the spoken word, tarot
Offerings: None are requested, and many truly desire not to receive offerings unless you genuinely wish to share something that you treasure greatly with them
About: The caretakers of all forests of their realm, Gladerunners are one and all minor deities on their plane. Feral and wild, they love nothing more than running through the thick underbrush in their territory, stems and branches obligingly bending out of their way by virtue of their strange magic as they kick up leaf litter, new seedlings sprouting in their wake.
As the guardians of their forests, they are all very capable protectors. Plant manipulation is their go-to for most malicious intruders, tripping them constantly and subtly altering their path to lead them in circles for hours before spitting them out of the forest in the same place they came in. (They are well known by the humans on their plane, and in some villages children use this as a right of passage of sorts... The Gladerunners are usually happy to oblige them, having a fondness for the young of most species.) However, if pressed, if someone insists on attempting to damage the land they have long claimed as their own, they will be met with more direct attacks- walls of vines, creeping blooms snaring them for eternity to feed the life they were intending to destroy. Though most Gladerunners simply wish to find companionship with a human on this plane, and to explore it to some extent, many will not hesitate to jump to their human's protection as they do for the villagers that worship them and leave them regular offerings of meat, dried berries, and lentils.
Vessel: Most Gladerunners will require a solo vessel, and many prefer dendritic/tree agate, moss agate, or petrified wood. Due to the nature of their energy, many will request that I bind them to a vessel in person as opposed to performing a distance binding.
