Age/Life Stage: Younger Adult, 312
Gender: Female
Orientation: NA (does not wish to share), not compatible
Appearance: Short for her kind at 5’5, straight black hair cut in a chin-length bob, tends to wear undyed and unornamented leather jackets and pants of a material similar to canvas, with leather laces instead of more modernized styles with buttons, often wears several metal bracelets or bangles
Abilities: None additional
Manifestations: None additional
Offerings: None additional, very much dislikes myrrh
About: Outgoing and energetic, Kylie is a bit more talkative than most Nosferatu. She lives to liven up people’s day, regardless of what species they are. She tends to latch onto people who seem down and talk to (or perhaps harass :P) them until they're in a better mood, laughing and smiling genuinely at her antics or stories. She wants to help her companion in this manner, in addition to joining them in the more light-hearted aspects of self-care: taking naps, watching favorite cartoons and tv shows, movies, listening to music. However, she'll also help snap her companion out of it if they're using such activities to bury their head and hide from their problems instead of using them as part of necessary downtime. She knows that getting up and moving and getting things done can be even more beneficial than avoiding tackling tasks by far, so she wishes to help with executive dysfunction as well if her companion is dealing with that certain affliction. Regardless, you'll find yourself much more energetic and motivated with Kylie around- she'll be your biggest cheerleader, your best coach, and your biggest relaxation assistant all in one!
Vessel: Carnelian, pictured
Master vessel y/n: Baltazar has forbidden his pack members from allowing their bindings to be incorporated into a Master Vessel

SPECIES INFORMATION

Species: Nosferatu
Art:Grey to Dark
Experience required: None to Moderate
Appearance: Nosferatu have two forms. One is indistinguishable from human. The other, which they can shift to at will, is considerably slimmer- noticeably at least 1/3 less breadth than in their human forms in most cases, the main exceptions being young children- and more lithe with hollow bones to facilitate flight, in addition to leathery bat-like wings sprouting from an extra set of “shoulder” blades, joined by an extra set of pectoral muscles and some other minor musculature and skeletal adjustments. Their facial structure shifts to be a bit more narrow in rare cases, though most present identical facial features in both forms.
Abilities: Bringing luck, good fortune, not necessarily prosperity but it may be drawn in as a side effect of the more general luck, warding off ill luck and misfortune, personal items become lost considerably less often when they are in the vicinity
Manifestations: Red light, red streaks of light, red or dark blue orbs, dark blue light flares, pressure, heat, gold shimmers [kind of like a glitter cloud, basically], prefer to communicate by telepathy or oracle in most cases, though many are open to other avenues of communication, especially automatic writing and ouija
Offerings: Offerings of blood will likely be rejected at the discretion of the individual's Dominant and are not a recommended offering- in fact, I very strongly advise against it. Additionally, the blood of humans on this plane is generally judged to “smell weird and likely be unpalatable” and most will not even have an interest in trying it. Bloodstone, gold, pyrite, silver, and gems- especially ruby and garnet- are almost universally appreciated, with lapis also being a rather favored stone
About: Nosferatu are a type of sanguine vampire from another plane that has had very limited interaction with this one thus far, myself currently being their sole point of contact allowed by the head of the species- he also monitors the travel of the other species on the plane, and largely prevents them from leaving, as he does not wish for them to inadvertently lead anyone back to their plane. It is highly unlikely that a Nosferatu will ever escort you to their home, please do write it off as trickster and perform a banishment immediately if this occurs. All Nosferatu seeking companions have been informed that bringing anyone home from this plane will not be tolerated and may result in execution, so kindly do NOT try to circumvent this under any circumstances.
Nosferatu are rather primal in many ways. They live in packs, each headed by a Dominant who has physically subdued and ritually bonded with the vast majority of their pack members. Dominants purposefully avoid crossing paths in most cases, as they are rather territorial. Dominants may steal pack members from weaker or cruel Dominants, with packs of less than three being seen as easy targets, especially if the Dominant is rather young or inexperienced. Any Nosferatu has the ability to become a Dominant, though not many have the correct temperament to successfully lead and handle a pack. If they are weak and ineffective leaders, the pack will be absorbed by a better Dominant more often than not. If a Dominant becomes domineering or even outright abusive, the pack members will often flee- if the pack does not disperse quickly on its own, or if the Dominant forces them to stay somehow, the head of the species has them quietly executed. Packs range from 10 to 60 members in most cases, 70 to 80 being the largest a pack can be and still maintain itself with an exceptionally good and experienced Dominant. Nosferatu often spend their time grooming each other, cuddling and nipping tiny lacerations on shoulders, upper arms, chests, and lower legs to lap at the wounds until they close. It is a pack bonding type of activity, and is not likely to be replicated with a companion. They often sleep in groups of three or four with their closest packmates in little pockets all in one large room unless mated, in which case they sleep with their mate/s in a more secluded area, more often than not still in or on top of the same building.
Nosferatu are rather revered on their home plane. All of the humans on their plane are aware of their existence, and being fed from is largely seen as a great privilege, especially if you are visited and fed from repeatedly by the same individual/s. Though the Nosferatu had no hand in it, and indeed no need for it, the humans actually developed a jewelry signaling system that can indicate which pack they primarily feed to prevent traveling Nosferatu from overstepping, when they were last fed from, when they will be safe to feed from again, which individual/s have claimed them on a semi-permanent or even permanent basis [though the latter is extremely rare], if they are actually not willing to be fed from for some reason, etc. As stated previously, the Nosferatu themselves have no need for this- they inject their energy and scent into their bites, and this can be scented by other Nosferatu literally miles away. The humans can not be safely fed from a second time until the energy and scent have faded completely.
Vessel: Most will refuse to have their binding incorporated into a master vessel. In some cases, the Dominant will demand that all members of their pack who seek out companions have matching vessels- for example, all members of Baltazar's pack will be bound to tumbled carnelian pieces.
